Greg is the founder and Joint CEO of Prospa, the number one online lender to small business in Australia, and is responsible for innovation and product development and investor and funder management. In 2015 Prospa was the fastest growing technology company in Australia, winning the Deloitte Tech Fast 50 and placing 3rd in the Deloitte Asia Tech Fast500.
In 2016 Prospa was awarded #1 Smart Company in Australia, was the Frost & Sullivan Lending Innovator of the Year and in 2017 was listed 24th – and leading Australian fintech – in KPMG’s list of Global Innovators. Greg has a BCom in Accounting from Monash University.
Beau is the co-founder and joint CEO of Prospa and is responsible for strategic planning, sales, marketing, distribution channels, business operations, investor and funder management, technology and analytics. Now in its seventh year, Prospa has already delivered over $1 billion to more than 19,000 small business owners and won Best Medium Business in the Telstra Business Awards in 2017.
Beau and Greg have led Prospa through several rounds of capital raising including $60m in late 2015 that included one of the world’s largest private equity firms and was the largest at the time by an Australian online lender, and a further $50m in late 2016 from a large institutional investor, and $25m in early 2017 including Australia’s two largest tech-focused VC funds. Beau has a BCom in Economics and Finance from Sydney University.
Chief Financial Officer
Ed has over 10 years’ experience in private equity and is responsible for Prospa’s finance, treasury, risk and compliance functions. In 2016 Ed developed a new securitization asset class as part of Prospa’s capital raising.
He has previously held senior roles at Ironbridge Capital across a number of industry sectors and Board roles with Bravura Solutions Holdings and Mascot Marine Holdings. Ed has a BCom / LLB in Finance, Economics and Law from Sydney University.
Chief Operating Officer
Ben has accountability for creating long-term, scalable organisational growth, end-to-end customer experience and has management responsibility for Prospa’s New Zealand operations.
Prior to joining Prospa, Ben held leadership roles at FlexiGroup (ASX:FXL) where he managed onshore operations, customer experience and established their global operation offshore, and at Eclipx Group (ASX:ECX) where he led product development and procurement during their IPO and was responsible for realising key restructuring synergies.
Chief Product Officer
Damon Pezaro is our Chief Product Officer with responsibility for elevating customer experiences and creating an elegantly simple approach to accessing finance.
He’s an experienced digital leader with over 15 years in start-ups as well as large corporate and media environments including Fairfax and News. Most recently, Damon was CPO at Domain Group, helping drive the business through an extended growth phase.
Chief Marketing Officer
Emma joined Prospa in June 2018. She has responsibility for customer acquisition and retention, marketing and brand.
Emma has over 20 years’ experience leading customer acquisition, product development and marketing in insurance and financial services.
Prior to joining Prospa, Emma was Head of Marketing for Business and Private Banking for ANZ and Marketing & Product Director for GE Capital in Australia and held senior roles at Aviva (UK), The Direct Line Group (UK) and BT Financial Group. Emma has a BBus from Queensland University and a Masters in Marketing Management from MGSM.
Matt Bauld – General Manager, Sales & Business Development
Matt is responsible for building a strong network of loyal and engaged referrers and growing Prospa’s business development team. Matt has over 20 years experience growing commercial and consumer finance businesses in Australia.
Matt has held leadership positions at Classic Funding Group, FlexiGroup, Technology Leasing, Hanover Consumer Finance, Lombard Finance and created mybuy – an interest free revolving credit facility.
Elise Ward – General Manager, People & Culture
Elise joined Prospa in December 2018. She has responsibility for the design and delivery of people strategy.
Elise has over ten years’ experience in delivering progressive people and culture strategies across start-ups and multinational organisations.
Prior to joining Prospa, Elise led the People & Culture team for Canadian-based technology company Elastic Path Software and has held senior HR roles at Samsung and Tabcorp. Elise has a Bachelor of HR Management from Macquarie University and a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from AGSM at UNSW.
Chief Technology Officer
As Prospa’s CTO, Richard is responsible for delivering a world class technology platform, enabling Prospa to scale efficiently and securely, and rapidly introduce new products and services.
Richard has 25 years experience including leadership roles for a global technology company where he built a large scale, high volume cloud software service processing many millions of transactions a day and handling billions of dollars. Richard has a BSc (Hons) and an MBA from the AGSM.
