June 2020. Prospa achieved a clean sweep at the MFAA State Excellence Awards three years running. Prospa received the Fintech Lender Award in every state and territory and the team also received the BDM Award (Lender / Support Service Provider) in SA / NT and QLD.

According to the AFR “…a cashflow-challenged, credit-constrained future is hinted at by list-topper Next Business Energy, which doesn’t wait for customers to call before applying its best discount to them, by sixth-placed Cashrewards, a coupon and cashback site, and by ninth-placed Prospa, which lends to small businesses where banks no longer will.” Full list.
September 2018. The LinkedIn Top Startups list honours the 25 most sought-after startups to work for in Australia. Prospa is also the highest placing Fintech. The ranking is derived from a blended score looking at factors including interest in the company, engagement with employees, job interest and retention, and is informed by the billions of actions taken by more than 575 million professionals on LinkedIn. The MFAA Excellence Awards are presented to members of the MFAA who have demonstrated quality customer service, professionalism, innovation, ethics and excellence in their field. They are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.
February 2018. Prospa topped the Financial Times’ inaugural list of 1,000 high-growth companies, in revenue terms, from the Asia-Pacific region. The expansion of digital services combined with a desire for flexible financing fuelled Prospa’s growth.
8 November 2017. Prospa is ranked #2 with three year average YOY growth of 239.1%. As reported, “Co-chief executive Beau Bertoli said the real reason Prospa had been able make more than $500 million of loans to 12,000 customers since its 2011 birth was that banks had never developed a comprehensive lending product for small businesses. Banks do very well from consumer lending and big business lending, and SMEs have been left in the too-hard basket,” Mr Bertoli said. Full list.
October 2017. Greg Moshal & Beau Bertoli were jointly awarded a Special Recognition Award for 2017 and inducted into the Hall of Fame. These Awards recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Australian tech industry. They are unique in their design, requiring nomination for entry and then a vote by previous winners of the award to determine recipients.

28 July 2016. Prospa is Australia’s fastest growing technology business, the leading online lender to small business and now formally transitioning from start-up to ‘grown-up’.
Last year we were a finalist in the start-up category for businesses three years old and under, this year we are a finalist in the medium business category for businesses with more than 50 employees and less than 400. And we are only four years in operation.

Prospa was named Australia’s fastest growing technology company at the annual Australian Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards held at the ASX on Thursday 19 November 2015.
Prospa led the pack with a phenomenal 6,971 percent revenue growth from 2013 to 2015. This prestigious award is a true recognition of Prospa’s bold innovation, dedicated leadership and strong growth.
To qualify for a place in the top 50 Deloitte Australian TechFast 50, each technology company has to accumulate more than $8 million in revenue over the three year period from 2013 to 2015.
Prospa is the third fastest growing technology company in Asia in the prestigious Deloitte Asia 2015 TechFast 500™. According to the head of Deloitte in Australia, “Prospa’s rise is a good example of an offering that meets a market need for safe, easy and fast finance in the small and medium size business area. Prospa has grown almost 7000% over the last three years.”

Prospa was selected as a finalist in the 2015 Telstra Business Awards for NSW. The Start Up Business category applies to businesses that are between one and three years old with up to 200 employees. This award follows some significant milestones for Prospa: over 50 employees, over 1,000 customers, ASIC licence and first securitistation.

In October Prospa was selected from entrants throughout Australia to rank 20th on the 2015 BRW Fast Starter List. According to BRW, “With such rapid growth, Prospa has established a name for itself within the FinTech industry in Australia, earning the trust of small businesses and some of the largest investors in the finance and technology industries.”
In December 2015, Prospa was named #33 in the top 50 fintech innovators in the world in a survey by KPMG-backed Fintech Innovators, a joint venture between H2 Ventures and KPMG. H2 Ventures founding partner Toby Heap said Australia was “punching above its weight” in having nine companies in the global list.
