Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll own a QLD territory and be responsible for driving growth through broker, aggregator and referral partnerships.
This is a true channel sales role, you’ll spend your time in market, building trust, educating partners and positioning Prospa as the go-to lending solution for their SME clients.
Success in this role comes from your ability to:
- Turn relationships into repeat referral pipelines
- Influence partners to prioritise Prospa
- Create momentum across your territory and consistently hit your numbers
What you’ll be doing
- Build and grow a portfolio of broker, aggregator and referral partners within your territory
- Execute a clear territory plan focused on driving consistent deal flow and originations
- Present Prospa’s value proposition to brokers and partners to generate regular opportunities
- Proactively identify and win new channel partnerships across lending, finance and adjacent sectors
- Maintain strong partner relationships to ensure Prospa is front of mind for SME lending needs
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in business development within lending, finance, fintech or channel sales
- A track record of driving revenue through broker, aggregator or referral networks
- Strong understanding of the SME lending landscape and broker ecosystem (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated success in managing a territory and consistently hitting sales targets
- A proactive, “hunter” mindset with the ability to identify, engage and win new partners
- Outstanding relationship-building skills, you build credibility quickly and influence outcomes
- Commercial acumen and the ability to understand what drives partner and SME client decisions
- High energy, resilience and a passion for working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
