People Operations Lead

Location: Sydney

The role

Working side‐by‐side with our Chief People Officer, you will own the day-to-day aspects of People Operations and partner with the business to deliver meaningful improvements to the lives of our Prosparians.

What you will be doing

  • Lead People Operations across Australia and New Zealand, for our 280+ Prosparians.
  • Lead, coach and mentor our P&C Generalist
  • In conjunction with the Chief People Officer, deliver on the annual People Operations strategic plan with priorities that focus on evolving and embedding our systems, processes, and offerings.
  • Support leaders with organisational design, cultivating culture, engagement action planning, workforce planning, succession planning and career development & growth.
  • Look for opportunities for growth and continuous improvement, with a focus on both scalability and what’s best for our people.  
  • Coach capability and build trusted relationships with Leaders, to ensure they are set up for success and engaged in their roles as Leaders of Prospa.
  • Use People data and insights to enable decision making, recommendations and advice when partnering with leaders. 
  • Use a collaborative approach to projects and problems, engaging the expertise of the broader P&C team and key stakeholders across Prospa.
  • Proactively lead all people performance management and investigations with leaders.
  • Lead all workplace health, safety, and wellbeing matters.
  • Create and communicate policies and procedures in line with government legislation and Prospa culture.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • You’re passionate about and experienced in all aspects of People Operations 
  • Experience planning and executing P&C programs, through to completion 
  • You’re able to influence and build strong relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You’re change management experience, and ability to scale this capability in leaders across the organisation is essential
  • An ability to maintain your composure, accept feedback, and achieve success in a fast‐paced and ever‐changing environment 
  • You’re proactive, a self‐starter and can successfully work autonomously
  • You enjoy data and numbers but also see the big picture
  • People leadership experience is advantageous
