Product Manager - Capital Products

The role

At Prospa we bring together the best capabilities across Finance and Technology to develop impactful products that simplify small business cash flow. The Strategy and Commercial Product team is at the forefront of shaping Prospa’s future vision, product roadmap and growth strategy.

You will manage pricing and commercial strategies for Prospa’s Business Loan and Line of Credit products to improve our competitiveness and drive growth. You will also support in enhancing our value proposition and support the development of future capital products. 

What you will be doing

  • Manage product commercial settings and P&L
  • Monitor the performance of Prospa’s lending portfolio and identify and drive actions to manage customer and business outcomes
  • Enhance reporting, analysis, commentary and insights that support effective decisions on product pricing
  • Enhance the value, resilience and competitiveness of Prospa’s capital products via a deep understanding of our products and their place in the market
  • Collaborate with other Product and Go-To-Market teams to develop commercial plans and identify opportunities to close gaps / exceed plans
  • Collaborate with Risk and Finance to manage and balance customer, risk, and commercial outcomes.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated expertise in product management, including experience with lending products
  • Highly customer-centric thinking, with a strong focus on customer needs and experiences
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use qualitative and quantitative inputs to support decision making and drive strategy
  • Commercial management with experience in pricing, financial modelling and P&L management will be an advantage.   
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
  • You’re a problem solver who is motivated by a challenge
